Carswell Designs had a special project in which the client entrusted their home to us for the season while wintering in the south. Carswell Designs not only checked on the home every few days but also reconditioned original mahogany cupboards into the picture you see here. Removing wallpaper, counter tops and carpeting, Carswell Designs transformed the kitchen into a modern, yet, time-less kitchen.
Carswell Designs installed this Ames kitchen. Other task completed by Carswell Designs include ceiling repair, painting, new entry door and trim to match cabinetry. This Ames Kitchen was originally featured in Better Homes & Gardens Magazine in 1978. The home owner wanted to refurbish the kitchen with a whole new look and enter it in the 2008 Better Homes & Gardens Contest. Carswell Designs built a few new cabinets and refurbished the rest of the oak cabinetry with new paint, counter tops, back splash, moldings and lighting.
